THE COVID-19 SYMPTOM TRACKER
This app is not the Track & Trace App you may have heard about in the news, but It is funded by NIHR (the research arm of the NHS) and about 4 million people are using it.
You simply report your health status once a day – It just takes a few seconds. It provides researchers and the government with accurate real-time data – the more of us who report, the better they know what is happening in each area and the earlier they are able to spot any local flare up. It is also helped to identify previously unknown symptoms such as the loss of taste and smell.
Regular users are offered a rapid test (at home or at a government test facility) when they report any new symptoms that could be coronavirus infection. Some people with no obvious symptoms are also offered tests as part of the research.
Ask your friends to do this as well. Find out more and download the app HERE
